Skye’s toxic cycle of answering her ex’s booty calls after their decade-long relationship ends pushes her to try something new—getting under someone else. Meanwhile, Ansel, an orc mobster seeking revenge for his parents’ murder, accidentally takes the place of Skye’s back-alley hook-up during a mission and ends up kidnapping her “for her safety.” But waking up handcuffed to his bed leaves Skye feeling a lot of things, and safe isn’t one of them.
